It’s a matter of which champion ults first. Talon escapes Zed’s ult and uses his combo to beat Zed. But, Talon can beat Zed once he hits level six. Zed Counter Pick Stats Does Zed Counter Talon? You can escape most of his combo when you use your dash or become un-targetable. Save dash or abilities that make you un-targetable for after Zed uses his ult. Do not use flash while Zed is invulnerable. If you use flash, the best time to do so is after his shadow lands on you. Most of his damage is physical, so some armor can help keep his damage low. If you're demolishing Yones on PBE, then it's probably because these are new players with no grasp on their champion and we're devoted ninja players with enough brain cells not to play bruisers.Zed is an assassin champion.
I don't think Zed will completely destroy Yone, but instead that it's a much more even matchup.
Maybe I'm a pessimist, but since Zed has so much creative outplay potential I think it's more important to focus on the ways Yone can outplay Zed. Thinking this way, Yone can attempt to finish the job when he returns. You've probably been hit by the metaphorical shield damage in this case, because Yone's E can last for a long time, allowing him to find some output of damage despite you having a lot of mobility, you will likely be beaten down a bit by the time he does return. It's like saying if a champion like Sett uses his ambulance ability, Zed can just one shot him after the shield leaves and Sett stays still.
My worry is that for Yone, while you're busy setting up for his E snapback that he'll be able to bruiser damage you because that's what bruisers do, and then even afterwards when you do have a setup for him, he can survive your full combo and turn it around.
Isn't Yone supposed to be a bruiser though? When I looked at Yone, I wasn't given as much of an impression that he fully one shots you or uses Zed ult E to assassinate someone as much as a duelist/repositioning tool that came with extra damage. So, don't worry, fellow shadow enthusiasts, he can copy us but never surpass us. The point is, is clear to see Zed has the tools to outplay and rekt Yone. It's not really needed, you only need to know the champ's kit to figure out mechanics, trading patterns, combos, some showcase videos also help. "But Yone hasn't come out how can you make conclusions like that" By Tyler Wenceslaus Eltringham Yasuo dashes to solemn victory, harnessing the raw power of the wind to elevate his unmatched elemental swordsmanship. He's pretty much a Zoe without having to bait the annoying CC. All of his abilities are easily dodgeable. This gives Zed the opportunity to easily set up triple-Q combos, or just a regular WEQ. This may contribute to the common idea that Zed has been powercrept by other assassins throughout the years, mainly Talon and Qiyana, and now Yone too.īut you guys are overlooking something, Yone not only has very telegraphed trading patterns, but he also suffers from the same weakness as Zoe: he becomes a sitting duck after using his E (R in Zoe's case) cuz he'll always go back. This sub has gone somewhat crazy with the fact that Rito gave Yone pretty much a copy of Zed's best ability as a basic one.
